ROOFING

Repair CEILING SPOTS caused by leaks in roof.

Repair DAMAGED FLASHING caused by improper installation, drying and cracking, and can usually be repaired without replacing roof.

Repair MISSING SHINGLES caused by improper fastening or caused by exposure to high winds and can usually be replaced individually.

Repair BUCKLING AND CURLING caused by improperly applied felt (buckling) or caused by movement in deck (buckling). It also may be caused by undersaturation of felt in organic-based shingles (curling).

Repair BLISTERING caused by moisture in shingles or caused by excessive use of asphalt plastic cement.

Repair ALGAE GROWTH caused by growth of airborne algae deposited on roof. Unsightly appearance does not affect the service life of the material. Common problem in warm, humid climates. Algae resistant shingles available regionally.

Repair MISSING GRANULES on newly applied shingles is normal on a certain number of loose granules. On aging shingles, missing granules indicate need for replacement.

Repair ROTTING caused by absorption of moisture by mat at the core of the shingle, which is a common problem with organic-based shingles.
